  1. Make sure that the housing on the furnace has heatshrink on it that does not restrict it from plugging into another housing.
  2. Make sure that the center of the CCQ furnace has been widened with the 1/2 inch diamond core bit.
  3. Set the bottom stop on the carriage to insure that the furnaces will not hit the bottom of the frame.
  4. If there is a CCS furnace then install it first and make sure that the height from the furnace bottom to the clamp matches the model.
With every furnace make sure that the furnace clamp bracket is in the correct orientation according to the model.
Also make sure that the furnace is held securely by the furnace clamp.
  5. Install the CCQ furnace and place two 1/16 in spacers on top of the CCS.
  6. Move the CCQ furnace down until the two furnaces hold the spacers tightly.
  7. Use the furnace alignment tool to set the position of the furnaces.
  8. Lock the furnaces into their final position.

Setting the Height for Top Stop on Carriage

  1. First place the alignment tool in the inlet port and move it down 2 millimeter.
    This needs to be accurate.
  2. Then raise the slide until the tool hits the top of the thermocouple in the CCS furnace, be careful not to push the alignment back up
  3. Lock the slide in place then tighten the slide stop.
