  1. Strip the cable back 3/4 of an inch.
  2. Clamp the end of the stripped wire with a pin vise and hold the wires with the TC-T economy holder near the insulation.
  3. Use a pin vise to hold the TC-T economy holder closed.

    Twist the thermocouple wires together.
  4. Twist the pin vise until there are 7-8 twists in the wires.
  5. Solder the wires together.
    Pliers open and ready to cut a thermocouple with ruler for size reference.

    Measure the thermocouple.
  6. Align the cable with the ruler as shown above.
    1. Cut the cable lead to 3/8 inch (.375).
    2. TC-T tee then cut the lead to 1/4 inch (.250).
    3. If the cable is for a LN manifold then cut the lead to 5/8 inch (.625).
      Check model to insure the lengths.

  7. Nip off the end of the wires to the directed length as imaged above.

  8. Cut a 3/4 inch piece of 1/16 inch 2:1 heatshrink.

  9. Use the imaged tools to spread out the end of the heatsrink in order to slide over the wires.

  10. Using the heat gun, heat up the heatshrink around the twisted wires.
