=Install the actuator and plug assembly into the valve body.= # Check the valve stem for proper lubrication free of dust, fibers or other contamination on the plug and O-rings # Choose the actuator's orientation on the valve body # According to the valve's intended location in the plumbing usually, the servo connector pins should point downstream (in the same direction as the arrow on the side of the valve) # Strictly observe the correct "top/bottom" orientation when inserting the plug into the body. # The top has a hole where the stop pin used to be. # The plug valve must be inserted into the top. # The plug passage in the bottom of the body is not sufficiently chamfered to protect the port O-ring from damage during installation. # Exercise care to avoid shearing the surface of the port O-ring, especially on 1/4 valves. # It may help to "tuck" the last part of the O-ring into its groove as it enters the valve body. # Align the actuator frame with valve body and insert valve stem straight into top of valve body. # Make sure that the frame properly holds onto the valve body. # Secure valve stem with the circlip
