Ground Lug

  1. Drill a 0.265" hole in the plastic backing of the control kit, 1" to the right and 0.75" above the screw to the right of the lowest set of quick disconnect plugs. Refer to the model if unsure of the size of the hole or the exact location of the hole.
  2. Place a 1/4-20 x 1.25 SS SS screw in the hole, with a 1/4-20 nut and 1/4 washer in the front and back to anchor it.

Frame Screw

Replace a frame screw with another 1/4-20 x 1.25 SS SS screw.

  • Usually this is a screw attaching tubing to the frame close to the control box and LN supply cable
  • Note: Drive the screw in as far as you can, since you want it to grind slightly into the frame bar so it can bond the frame properly.

Wiring

Cut 5 green wires to length

  • Cut 2 18-gauge wires to travel from the ground lug to both power supplies
  • Cut 1 14-gauge wire to travel from the ground lug to the ground pin on the IEC inlet
  • Cut 1 14-gauge wire to travel from the ground lug to the frame screw
  • Cut 1 18-gauge wire to travel from the frame screw to a screw at the top of the LN manifold frame attachment
  • (optional) Cut 2 wires (22 gauge or 24 gauge) to travel from the frame screw to the molex connector of the LN supply cable
    • This is probably better to do when creating the LN supply cable(s) instead

Connectors

  • The power supply wires should have a ring terminal on the lug end and a fork terminal on the supply end
  • The ground to IEC ground wire should have a ring terminal on the lug end and a quick disconnect (F) on the IEC end
  • The ground to frame wire should have a ring terminal on both ends
  • The frame to Ln manifold wires should have ring terminals on both ends
