Notes
- KEEP AS STRAIGHT AS POSSIBLE FOR EASIEST TIME
- Use model to layout assembly before hand
- Will need different lengths of small tubes and swegg tees, elbows, and crosses
- Plan which pieces are going to be attached first for easiest assembly using vice
- Use copper jaws or weaker vice grip to not mark plumbing
- Hold plumbing on swegg and part number sides, dont attach vice on the nuts
- Grab tee holders and swegg wrench (9/16 wrench--> 1/4 & 7/8 wrench--> 1/2)
- Assure that nut is finger tight and pipe is touching bottom of fitting
- Make a small sharpie mark
- Tightening:
- regular swegg 1 & 1/4 turns
- Adapters 1/4 turn
- plug caps 1/4 turn
- Keep a circular force when tightening
- If orientation of piping is wrong--> can undo connecting nuts and re-tighten
- When a fitting needs to be re-tightened, tighten until tight, no more 1 1/4 turns
- Start with GM and IM, then process and finish with vacuum section
- Ferrells in nuts must be assembled--> writing on nut touching table, small ring with flat side in first, then cone on top like volcano
- Hold pieces in orientation when first tightening
- Have all swegg logos facing same direction
