Pressure Sensor Connector

  1. Strip the cable housing back long enough that the housing is flush with the bottom of the pin but does not get crimped with the wire.
    • Use the appropriate pin-crimping tool for the given size of pin.
  2. Identify orientation of the DSUB shell and the needed channels.
  3. Push DSUB contact all the way into DSUB shell.
    • crimp the contact tighter with flat pliers if the pin does not easily push into the shell.

Devices with RJ45 interface connectors

Use a short adapter cable with the T568B wiring convention on the RJ45 end to route the signals to the Aeon wiring convention on the Molex end. I.e., the adapter wire colors are determined by the T568B wiring convention, whereas those in the cable from the adapter to the DAQ are determined by Aeon's signal-based wiring conventions.
