- Use a large size endmill to shorten the length of the folded tabs to 0.125 in. Use the auto-feed and run the machine at very slow speed, cutting one tab at a time.
- Remove any burrs and use the grinding wheel to soften the edges.
- Ensure that the tabs do not touch the frame when the sliding lock is tightened.
- Use a 1/5 in oversize reamer to widen the hole, until the spacer (black nylon 257 x 500 x 125) will slide through freely.
